Type of Information Collected
InfoBeams is an online messaging service. People registering for
services submit their name, company/organization name if a client, and
e-mail address.
Use of Collected Information
Information is collected by InfoBeams and is the sole property of the
service. User information is only shared with clients whose groups
they belong to. Client information is similarly shared with users who
have subscribed to their groups. Beyond this basic functionality,
collected information is not shared with any 3rd party.
Client and User Contact
By subscribing to a group, end users have granted permission to
receive information from InfoBeams specifically intended for that
group. End users must confirm via email before being admitted to any
group, and may opt-out again at any time, either by following the link
at the bottom of any group InfoBeam, or by logging into the InfoBeams
website. Clients consent to being contacted by InfoBeams with
service-related news, information and announcements.
Cookies
Cookies are used to keep track of who is logged in and to provide each
user with tailored content. Information such as IP address internal
session ID, user's domain, type of Internet browser and user OS may be
collected and would be used only for general traffic auditing and
analyzing trends.
Delete/Deactivate
"Deactivating" refers to the process by which Personally Identifiable
Information, upon request, is removed. Because of backups and records
of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a member's entry without
some residual information. An individual who requests to have
Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will be functionally
deleted. We will not sell, transfer, or use the information relating
to a deleted individual in any way. To deactivate your account, please
log in and remove all groups from your profile.
Correct and Update Information
Personal information collected through InfoBeams may be corrected or
updated on line by the person whose information was collected.
Notification Of Changes
In the event that there is a change in the privacy practices of
InfoBeams, those changes will be posted on this page.
